FAQ

Do your flowers/owls come with a pole?

  • I don’t ship the pole with the flowers and owls. You will need to pick up a 1/2” conduit pole to display it on. It’s cheaper for you to get one at your local hardware store than to pay me to ship it for you.

How do you attach the flower/plate to the pole?

  • Most of my flowers have a hockey puck on the back of them with a hole drilled into them to fit on the pole.

What kind of pole do you use?

  • I use 1/2” conduit. You can find it at most local hardware stores.

What size are your flowers and how much are they?

  • My flowers and owls range in size and price. Anywhere from 5” - 20”. Pricing is from $35- $200.

How much is shipping?

  • Shipping costs depends on box size, weight, and where the package is going.

How long do they last? Can they stay outside during winter?

  • I have a bunch that I put in my yard every year that I made in 2018. I bring them inside for the winter. (I’m in Michigan!) I use adhesives that I use are waterproof. They handle freezing winters, (I bring mine in because although the adhesives are ok, the glass might not be.) hot summer sun, rain, snow, and UV exposure very well.

Do your bird feeders have drainage holes?

  • They don’t, but I place mine under a big tree or under the eaves trough to keep it out of the rain. If I know it’s going to rain, I just bring them in temporarily.

Where do you find all of your dishes?

  • I’m always shopping! Thrift stores, antique stores, estate sales, Marketplace, eBay, Etsy, Depop, etc.

What adhesive do you use?

  • I use silicone and construction adhesive.

Do you sell the 3D printed back or the file?

  • No I don't. My husband designed and 3D printed a back specifically for my mini-mini glass flowers, my large flowers, and some owls.

Why do you use valuable glass? It makes me sad.

  • So sorry that it makes you sad. But this way people can enjoy looking at it all of the time instead of it sitting in a cupboard collecting dust, but I totally understand where you are coming from. 🫶
